About Us

Beautiful Lake Hartwell on the Georgia and South Carolina border has so much to offer!  This site was created to share information on local activities and happenings with visitors to the area.

In 2007, our family decided to make Lake Hartwell our second home.  We were new to the area, but many of our guests began asking about local places to go and things to do.  After putting together a couple of emails on our experiences, recommendations and website links for our friends, we thought ”why not post this information for everyone to use?” –  and the idea for this site was born. 

As our home is located on the Georgia side of Lake Hartwell, you will find that most (but not all) of our suggestions, ideas and links reflect activities within an hour or two of our house.  Having said that, we are always interested in widening this circle and learning about new adventures, places to go, restaurants & things to do around all of Lake Hartwell!
